John Ford, co-writer of Part of the Union, has lived in America for a number of years now, but came back specially for this festival. It was such a great event that he's now coming over again next month (May 1999), when the Strawbs are doing a tour with the original Bursting at the Seams lineup (plus Brian on guitar, and with Rod opening as a solo, acoustic support act).
