At last I managed to get to another Strawbs gig at Bilston, after the previous one was postponed due to Dave Cousins' illness and I'd probably missed the one before because of work commitments...

So it was fabulous to see Dave Cousins restored to health and doing the usual vibrant things that only he know how.

Strawbs' new keyboard player is Dave Bainbridge from Iona. He's brought a fresh new feel to the songs by playing them in his own way, while yet remaining in keeping with the original arrangements.
